I’m a registered Republican and I have voted in a lot of elections over the years. This is the first time I have felt so strongly about a candidate that I’ve volunteered and gotten involved. An interesting experience since Jason Grill is a Democrat. Jason has the most impressive “Jaw Dropping” experience, which I feel is amazing for his age. He has an incredible and extensive list of endorsements from the best, most recognizable professional organizations in the state. I’ve seen both sides and I’m very disappointed as a registered republican at the mud slinging that has been done by republicans this year. The sad thing is most voters don’t have time to double-check these comments before election day.
The simple fact is they aren’t true. I’m 57 years old and I do my research. I know the truth. I support Jason Grill because of his experience, respect for all human life, and his belief in lower taxes.

I have had the fortune of knowing Jason Grill for now nearly 11 years. In the time that I have known him he has always exhibited a strict observance of fiscal responsibility, knowing what must be paid for, and what can be improved upon. As a moderate, mainstream State Representative I need your help to continue to bring together Republicans, Independents, and Democrats in order to fight for all the citizens of Southern Platte County and the 32nd District. This is the only way I can represent common-sense Platte County values, and continue to present a clear vision for the future of the Northland.
In my 2006 and 2008 elections, many Republicans and Independents helped by joining together to endorse my candidacy by declaring themselves as ‘Republicans for Grill’. In my 2006 election we received over 60 percent of the vote as we brought together individuals from all over the political spectrum. In my 2008 reelection to the Missouri House of Representatives, we garnered 97 percent of the vote and received more votes then any other State Representative candidate in the Democratic party statewide, 18,029. This bi-partisan support was critical in 2006 and 2008 and will be even more critical in the 2010 election. The voters of Southern Platte County must demand elected officials who will vote for what is in the District’s best interest, who are willing to bring Republicans and Democrats together in times of intense partisanship. Leaders should put progress ahead of partisanship. I have done this in the Missouri House of Representatives and will continue to do this in the future
